Mission
It is the mission of Bee City USA – Carlinville to facilitate broad-based community involvement through events and activities that celebrate, educate, and coordinate a city-wide effort to establish and enhance healthy habitats that provide food, nesting and overwintering sites that sustain all pollinators.
Resolution
Our Bee City Carlinville Resolution was passed by the Carlinville City Council on September 23, 2019. It details our goals and intentions, our leadership team and several core committee members.
Integrated Pest Management Plan
An IPMP is designed to manage pests by addressing the underlying sources of the pest problems, prioritizing non-chemical techniques and those that are least toxic to humans and the environment and strengthening efforts to protect pollinators.
Our IPM plan was approved at the Bee City-Carlinville meeting of September 2, 2020. Thanks in particular to Bill Link for his hours of consultation and discussion with other pollinator-interested entities in and around our city, including Blackburn College Bee and Tree Campus groups, Tree City-Carlinville, Make Carlinville Beautiful, and the City of Carlinville itself.
This is a record of agendas, reports, documents and minutes for our Bee City USA - Carlinville meetings.
